Combat Movements

Call of Duty: Black Ops III features an all new movement system. Players can now thrust jump, slide, wallrrun, and even swim!
One important fact is everyone now has unlimited sprint. This is to keep the game fast-paced and action-packed. Use the Gung-Ho Perk in a custom loadout to shoot from the hip while sprinting.
If you come across a low obstacle, press jump while near it to mantle. You can mantle in all directions, so make sure you keep moving!
To boost jump, click the jump button while in mid-air. You will see a gauge come up on screen that displays the amount of power your thrusters have. You can either tap the jump button or hold it. Tapping will allow you to go further distances, but you will bob up and down. You can also dodge left and right while in mid-air by thrusting and going a different direction.
To power slide, click the crouch button while running. Sliding can be used to dodge enemy fire and return some of your own. You can even go into a slide from mid-air by pressing crouch while jumping and thrusting. The power slide uses the same thrusters as the boost jump. They will share the same gauge and thruster power.
To wallrun, simply run towards a wall to begin, then press forward to continue wallrunning. While wallrunning, you can continue using your weapon and equipment.
Lastly, some maps contain bodies of water. In Black Ops III, you can swim without worrying about instantly dying, and even use your weapon underwater! Don't stay under too long, Specialists cannot breathe while underwater. You can always use a thrust jump to quickly reach the surface.

Weapon Stats
Each weapon has five different stats: Damage, Range, Fire Rate, Accuracy, and Mobility. Mobility is no longer shown for each weapon since there is a set stat over the entire class.
Damage is simply the amount of damage a weapon does. Pretty simplistic.
Range is the distance a weapon can go before the damage drops off. For instance, shotguns have very low range and drop in power over short distances. Sniper Rifles and Light Machine Guns have the longest range and usually don't drop off in power over any range. Using suppressors reduces the range for all weapons.
Fire Rate is the speed a weapon fires at. There are several types of fire modes for each weapon that varies in rate of fire:
- Fully Automatic: The weapon will fire bullet after bullet while holding down the trigger.
- Burst fire: The weapon will fire a short burst of bullets with each pull of the trigger. Some weapons automatically cycle and will burst again and again while holding down the trigger.
- Semi Automatic: The weapon will fire one bullet with each pull of the trigger.
- Bolt Action / Pump Action / Lever Action: The weapon will fire one bullet with each pull of the trigger, followed by a short action to load the next round.
Accuracy is how well the weapon will hit its target. Some weapons have massive recoil that goes vertical (up) and even horizontal (left or right).
Mobility is basically the weight of the weapon and how it affects the player. Submachine Guns, Shotguns, and Pistols have the highest mobility and doesn't slow down players at all. Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles usually have the second best mobility. Light Machine Guns have the worst mobility and will slow players down the most.
